The Columbia River is fishing well for Walleye, Snall mouth bass,Sturgeon and Steelhead. We are now getting into our summer months with warmer temperatures which helps the bite on the river. This great opportunities will run through the summer. Our Fall Salmon season opens August 1st on the Columbia River. Starting out near the mouth in the area called “buoy 10” out of Astoria Oregon is the place to be in August. Walleye are on the bite on the east side with Jigging being the best. The Trophy Sturgeon are biting well especially with fresh shad in the river. The small mouth bass are in post spawn now and will be aggressive on the bite fishing the rocky points. Good luck to you all.
